Does anyone know of a work-around for the "Too New To Rate" default in Ad-Hoc Reporting?

Hi there,

I'm a brand new system admin for SuccessFactors at my company, and we've just launched our Year End Annual Performance Reviews in the PMGM module. For our rating scale, we are using the text "Unable to Rate" for the "null" or "unable to rate" option in the rating, but when we go to run ad-hoc table reports in Report Center, the field is populating with "Too New To Rate" instead.

Through SAP's expert chat and looking at KBAs, it appears the system default for the "Unable to Rate" field is to show "Too New To Rate" in the reporting, however that wording is not applicable to our business needs and these reports are permissioned for our business to run, we're worried the confusion this will cause.

I'm wondering, has anyone found a work-around to change the wording in the Ad-hoc table reports?

Thank you in advance!
Geena

I have the same issue. And from what I was told, Adhoc reports will always pull "Too New to Rate" if you put any value in the "Unable to Rate" field.

This does not fit our reporting needs, either.

What I haven't found yet is the adhoc report value if I choose to leave the "Unable to Rate" field blank

I've experienced the same issue. We changed the default to "Unable to Rate" but "Too New to Rate" displays on the reports.

Hi Geena

I too researched SAP knowledge and then worked with my professional services provider for a solution to this and there was none.  No matter what you put in the Unrated field on the template, the reporting will always be "Too New To Rate"

So our solutions are:

- Make ratings required when reporting from SuccessFactors will be the primary reporting source. Your users will be forced to use your scale.

- If you use Canvas Reports (end of life is 2025) you can make a calculated field changing the "Too New To Rate" to "Unrated."

- We export most of our data into Power BI and use the transformation steps to rename field values to make them match the business need.
