Compensation Module_ Final salary is over the max pay range

Dears SAP Experts is it possible to make the final basic salary equal to Max pay range in case the merit increase amount will made the final salary over the max range. as example

Employee current salary is 5900 SAR and his max pay range is 6000 SAR

According to the merit guidelines the employee is entitled to 3% which is equal to 171 SAR, this will made the final Basic salary= 6071 SAR which it is over the max pay limit

This is what our business require that in such a scenario we need to made the final basic = current max pay range

Standard functionality allows to split excess above range between merit and lumpSum. If this isn't desired, then use custom columns.

Thank you for your answer, unfortunately my client policy does not include lumpSum, but by using custom columns does this means that i will also need to add custom columns for the range pentration and com ratio.
