Hi
We are using a Combined Compensation template with for running the Merit and Bonus(Variable Pay) cycle. The requirement is to run the Merit review on the most current/latest salary and the Bonus(Variable Pay) calculation on a point-in-time salary i.e say on 31st December 20XX effective salary.
Can this requirement be met using the approach of creating a custom MDF field and pulling the Annual salary into that field and then possibly filtering the same using Integration center ( as of 31st December 20XX) and then using this amount in Employee History file for Bonus calculation whilst pulling the current salary from the standard Compensation Information portlet?
Or should we consider using an Earning Table to capture the salary effective 31st December 20XX.
Or this possible at all using a Combined Template?
Any advice or suggestions will are welcome.

Thanks Xavier. Are you essentially saying that whilst the solution proposed by Lesley is good to calculate the bonus based on point in time salary, but for displaying this point in time salary on the Bonus form, we should consider using an ALCF field instead of an MDF field and populate that MDF field via Integration Centre filtering logic?
