Career Progression (Historical Job Information) and Compensation Data load for employee

Dear SAP Community,

Please help to flag out are there any concerns of loading Job Information (Career Progression) and Compensation History will have no issue of inserting historical records post go-live. For example, will there be any impact for loading the career progression data for Active employee post go-live or loading 2 years of historical data for the Inactive employees after their termination records are loaded.

We can import Comp history later. However, few things to keep in mind:

1. First record should be Hire record.

2. Please check impact to Payroll & downstream systems if any.

Although technically its feasible to import data later, we recommend including these additional test cases as a part of testing.

  1. one for active employee (load initial data including Hire record effective date A), later load historical data for Job & Comp info effective date B.
  2. Repeat step1 for inactive employee.
