Hello,
I have storyboards with hundreds of slides and multiple files in the form of ppt slide decks. I want to convert each slide deck into a book in SAP Enable Now producer. The import option isn't ideal because text boxes are not imported as objects, rather as an image, therefore I cannot make edits at the object level and add mouse over effects and animation.
Would creating a book template from the slide deck be a better option? If yes, can you guide me on how to create a template from an existing PPT slide deck?
Thanks!
Vin

Even that script is far from perfect. It will try to create Book Pages with actual editable objects on them, but (1) You can't really use a Book Page Template (you can, to contain boilerplate text, but placeholder objects won't be populated), and (2) it will turn everything on each slide into a Book Page Object - including boilerplate from the PowerPoint Master Slide. So you really need to apply a master slide of 'blank' in PowerPoint before importing, import using a Book Page Template that contains the same Master Slide objects, and even then be prepared to do a lot of work to tidy things up. Personally I just copy/paste from PowerPoint and apply formatting as I go.
