Hi Experts,
Can anyone provide guidance on is there any limit to "total attachment space" in LMS.
Scenario:
In our project we have technical certificates provided by external agencies uploaded by users. We have already extended utilization space to 3.9GB, however this is going to be exhausted soon and there might be a request from client side to increase it further.
In case we further increase the size will there be any LMS operations issues? Is there any prescribed limit the attachment space can be increased?
Will appreciate your suggestion/guidance on the same.
Thanks
Abhishek

We have also reached our attachment storage capacity and raised the same questions. After numerous tickets and conversations we have been advised that you can increase the limit at no cost and no affect to the system performance (although, I still question this). However, per the professional services practice director for LMS, it is not recommended to go beyond 2GB total attachment limit and encourages to use the APM purge functionality for older attachments. Another product support rep advised the most space used seen with other customers was 5-6GB. All in all, it has been confirmed that SF Learning should not be used for document storage.
This is the KBA that has been shared with us several times from several representatives, https://userapps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/2183762.
