The second half production release the weekend of November 17th is quickly approaching. Let's take a look at what you can expect for SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals and SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development with the continuous adoption of talent intelligence, actions in the flow of work and much more.


SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

With the 2H 2023 release, you can now leverage the skills inferencing capabilities of the talent intelligence hub to provide recommended skills for employees based on continuous performance management data, such as feedback, achievements, and activities. This automated identification of hidden skills helps ensure every employee has a personalized, up-to date skills profile. Additionally, employees can now assess skills to highlight areas of achievement and opportunities for growth with the ability to rate skills on performance management and 360-degree review forms. The selected skills, together with their ratings, are then updated in the employee’s growth portfolio. We are also excited to share that employees can now use Joule, our conversational AI copilot, to give and request feedback directly within the flow of work, reducing the need to navigate between multiple applications.


SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

As we further integrate the talent intelligence hub throughout the suite, we are excited to introduce the ability for employees to identify skill gaps against target roles within the career worksheet to improve career development planning. In addition, when creating or editing a development goal, employees can now associate skills with each goal allowing employees to maintain their growth portfolios with skills they plan to acquire. We are also introducing the ability for mentors and mentees to connect based on skills, helping to ensure more impactful and meaningful mentorship matches. Finally, succession planners can now leverage the talent search to find employees based on skills, enabling improved internal mobility
