As we continue to adjust to new ways of working, the one thing that remains top of mind for leaders is that organizational success is built on employee success. The SAP® SuccessFactors® Human Experience Management (HXM) Suite helps organizations place people at the center of their business and deliver the kind of dynamic experiences that can increase engagement and improve business results. With the first half (1H) 2022 release, we are pleased to highlight the following innovations in the SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite, designed to help you create a more agile, engaged workforce, and change work for good.

In this release we’re excited to share a number of innovations that will help optimize the user experience.  We’ve enhanced the course home to further improve discoverability and encourage course completion for our SAP SuccessFactors Learning customers. We’ve redesigned how the user interacts with the item details page to make viewing and consuming learning even easier. The course home now supports an end-to-end experience for all training classifications including external, on-demand, instructor-led in person, and instructor-led virtually. These are delivered via both the browser and mobile app, ensuring a consistent user experience.

We’ve also made a number of enhancements to the reimagined home page.  For example, we now offer alerts so users can view the most urgent pending tasks for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central without leaving the home page. This improves efficiency, especially when it comes to processing important, times-sensitive requests.  And, we are pleased to introduce a new and improved HR and hiring manager experience accessible from the reimagined home page. Dedicated onboarding/offboarding home page to-dos, including data reviews and new hire activities, are organized by priority, helping increase productivity and efficiency for those supporting onboarding and offboarding programs.

For SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace customers, we are pleased to announce mobile enhancements so customers can now see recommendations of mentors, mentor preferences, and mentor programs on all devices. Additionally, assignment owners can view their posted assignments and manage applicants from the convenience of their mobile device.

In our continued effort to deliver personalized employee experiences, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve enhanced our reward and recognition capabilities to give you greater flexibility in administering your programs. You can now configure and manage programs using custom points. Custom points earned through these programs can be earmarked for specific catalogs from our redemption partners. For example, in support of a company health initiative, you can celebrate your employees’ wellness accomplishments with points-based rewards which can be redeemed from a specific wellness catalogue, while points earned from a learning program can only be redeemed from a learning catalogue. This improves process efficiency while enabling you to personalize rewards to better incentivize employees and increase engagement.

In today’s world with dispersed and remote employees, it is important to capture the physical location of an employee when recording time to ensure accuracy of calculations dependent on location. We are very pleased to offer the ability to capture the physical location using GPS of an employee when recording time on our digital punch clock.  In addition, we now have the ability to detect late comers who clock in after their scheduled work time has begun. You can also configure alerts and send them to administrators or managers when certain thresholds are reached. This provides managers and administrators real-time information on employee work patterns, and can trigger appropriate actions if necessary.
