We are excited to share we have a new connector for SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics and SAP Analytics Cloud, a new compliance report for SEC reporting, you can now realize Learning data which will be available for stories in People Analytics as a standalone data source, and a new health and vaccine portlet. This solution is built with SuccessFactors Metadata Framework (MDF) by leveraging custom MDF objects, Role-Based Permission (RBP), and Report Story. Any SAP SuccessFactors EC customers can take advantage of this solution. All of this is available in the 1H 2021 release. Now let’s drill into the details.
SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics aggregate connector to SAP Analytics Cloud
What is it?
With this new connector, SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics can now be used as a data source inside SAP Analytics Cloud, for the use of pre-aggregated data in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning scenarios. Not only will this enable you to conduct cross enterprise planning with HR data in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning, it will also improve the accuracy of workforce plans by utilizing a curated set of aggregate metrics and dimensions that have been customized specifically to the needs of your business. This will help you save time by leveraging the valuable data assets in SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics with a simplified and streamlined integration into SAP Analytics Cloud.
Human Capital Disclosure Template
What is it?
As many of you know, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently ruled that publicly traded companies are required to file Human Capital data as part of their corporate filings. We are pleased to announce a new capability within our SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics solution, the Human Capital Disclosure template. This template pulls content automatically into an easy-to-consume report, saving time and effort while also supporting SEC compliance efforts of affected organizations.
Learning in People Analytics
What is it?
Customers can now utilize Learning data which will be available for stories in People Analytics as a standalone data source. Making learning data available allows for the self-service creation of reports that can contain content from across the SuccessFactors suite and tell story that fits your business needs. This drastically reduces the effort to access your Learning data inside SAP SuccessFactors and allows for the distribution of reports and insights across the business.
We’re also excited to deliver a new Health and Vaccination Status monitoring portlet to help you:
Safely bring employees back into the office
Provide travel recommendations for employees who travel
Identify and support high-risk employees based on location, age, and area of work
Leveraging the SAP SuccessFactors MDF Framework and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central people profile, the portlet collects data to monitor employee health and vaccination status and is effectively dated.
HR business partners and leadership teams in an organization can access real-time analytics dashboards to plan activities such as staffing frontline positions, managing safely distanced workspaces, and approving employee travel. As of April 15, this portlet is available as an Upgrade Center item, and is a free opt-in item.
We provide a ‘How-to-Guide’ with step-by-step instructions to further customize this portlet for your needs. We also provide a detailed step-by-step guide on how to create report stories with the data collected in the Health and Vaccine status portlet combined with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central data.
