While initiate Onboarding for an Applicant on a requisition, user faced an error message popped up denying the progress, which error description as "Unable to initiate onboarding process. The following Onboarding fields are missing or invalid..."
Root Cause and Resolution:
Please refer to KBA - 234487 for the root cause for most of the cases.
Other probable Root Cause:
In case, the issue still persists after applying the resolution provided in the above mentioned KBA, which is very unlikely, try creating an adhoc report to get the CDM template used and check the status of the template in provisioning. One of the reason for getting this specific error is that The CDM template used for Application is deactivated in the provisioning, as new template is used instead. The deactivated template were used while applying for the particular job.
Resolution for this exceptional case is either to initiate onboarding manually or to reapply using new CDM template.
Reactivation of the old template is also an option to initiate onboarding from requisition via take action
