Hi Expert,
Our BPC develpers add some new dimension members into BPC NW 7.5 server, and we can see them when select CV in BPC
Offiece client. But when I use Analyzer included in Xcelsius tool to create the queries, select the same dimension, the new dimension members were not shown there.
I had tried many times and many mehods, such as restart Xcelsius, create a new connection, restart PC . But the issue was still existing. It's an uregnt issue for our project now, do you have any idea ? thanks
Tools version:
Xcelsius 2008 SP3 FP2
Extended Analytics Analyzer 7.5 SP06

Did you try refreshing the dimension member cache from the BPC Admin client? May be worth a shot.

So this means that the problem is at Xcelsius end, did you use the BPC data grid to get the data form BPC? according to your description, before the BPC developer add the new members, the data is ok in Xcelsius already, I would drop the connection from BPC and redo it again.

Please ask the BPC developer to go to BPC Excel and test if he can see the newly added member there? this is ti test if the error is at BPC end or Xcelsinus end.

Hi Rich,
Thanks, I had refreshed this dimension in BPC Admin Client, but the issue was still existing ...
Hi Jianbai,
All dimension members can be found in Current View selector and also can be selected in BPC report in BPC Office Client; But I couldn't find all of them in Analyzer ... (I am not the BPC developer .. hope my discription is clear)
And I had done the same test with my colleague's laptop, he has the same issue ..
Do you know what's the issue ? Is there any solution ? thanks a lot !
