Unable to use CASE expression in an implicit enhancement

Hello,

I'm unable to apply the CASE expression in an implicit enhancement which is built in the FM: CALCULATE_TAX_DOCUMENT, function group: TAX1.

Upon checking I noticed "Fixed Point Arithmetic" check box is unchecked, which prevents the use of the CASE expression.

Please help me with the reason behind this functionality.

Hi Meghana,

I had something like that a while ago when I wanted to use some "new" language options like inline declarations in a select statement. It didn't work and as the setting cannot be changed as far as I can tell, it means that these "new" language elements cannot be used in such code.
