Hello,
We have two options.
1. Give notice on the individual object rather than the contract.
Navigate to Term Tab and you can find the notice option- choose Give Notice which will give 2 options as per the below mentioned screenshot.
2. Instead of using the Notice option, you can navigate into the Object Tab and update the relationship to update the terminate date.
