Tansit Process (Automatic & Manual)

Dear Gurus,

I am testing the scenario for Transit process and have some basic question:

In the Normal process when we create the Proforma billing in ECC, custom declaration is automatically created in GTS.

Similarly if we want to create custom document for transit process how we integrate the document.

Questions:

1. Can we integrate ECC document for Transit process.

2. If yes, is this integration at Proforma billing doc or Shipment doc in ECC

3. If we integrate any special provisions need to be maintained for automatic integration.

I have read the on-line assistance. Where in it says it can integrate if configuration is maintained but my question pertains to whether it has to be integrated with Billing Doc or Shipment doc.

Hi Ashish,

Integration is through Billing Documents.  GTS does not provide integration or support for ERP Shipments (but you can vote for my idea on that topic).

Hi Ashish,

Yes, just turn it on as usual.  The communication processes are pre-configured in the standard system - no changes should be necessary, unless you are intending operation for a non-supported country.
