Regarding the new export option

SAP PaPM On-Premise: Exporting Environments - SAP Community

Is it possible to reimport it directly on PaPM Cloud?

Hello Simon,

Yes, that is indeed the purpose of the export function in PaPM on prem. You can easily export from on prem and import into PaPM Cloud (Standard Edition). However, please be aware of the detailed explanation regarding the functions/connections that may not be available in PaPM Cloud.

Yes, it is possible to import environments (zip files) in SAP PaPM Cloud for both Standard Model (via Content Management) and Universal Model (via Manage Containers). Please see related blogposts for your reference:

Hi Nica,

Just to clarify, It is not possible to migrate from PaPM On Prem/Cloud SM to PaPM Cloud Universal Model.  

"Automatic migration of environment from SAP PaPM On-Premise or SAP PaPM Cloud SM to a SAP PaPM Cloud UM tenant is not possible."
