Problem with replacement of index series, change of base year

Hi Experts!

I try to explain my problem in Real Estate.

In Italy from January 2011 the baseline (base year) national index of consumer prices for the entire community (NIC) and national consumer price index for families of workers and employees (CPI) moved from 1995 to 2010.

So, I have to change the base year of index in Rent Adjustment.

I think I have changed the base year from 1995 to 2010.

(Path: Real Estate>Rent Adjustment>Index>Replacement of index series, change of base year)

In table TIVAJINDXCON (previous was empty) now there is this record:

SERIESTO: 08000

BASEYEARTO: 1995

SERIESFROM: 08000

BASEYEARFROM: 2010

CHAINDATE: 31.12.2010

INDEXBASETO: 1,373

But with transaction FOA0 it seems that the rent adjustment still consider 1995 as base year instead of 2010.

I have to set the SAP application as to use 2010 as new base year instead of 1995.

I use RECN transaction but seems that the rent adjustment still consider 1995 as base year instead of 2015.

My steps:

1) RECACUST --> Adjustment of Conditions --> Index Adjustment --> Enter Index Rebasing Factors

In table TIVAJINDXCON (previous was empty) now there is this record:

2) I have to set the RECN SAP application as to use 2015 as new base year instead of 1995.

3) Seems that the rent adjustment still consider 1995 as base year instead of 2015.

Hi Marco,

I think the problem is in the content of table TIVAJINDXCON.

Probably you have reversed BASEYEARTO with BASEYEARFROM and you missed the CHAINDATE.

If you want to change the base year from 1995 to 2015 (ad example from 01/01/2016 with index 1,470) you have to insert this record:

Index   Series	Base   Year To	Index   Series	Base   Year From	Date	Index   value
FOI	1995	FOI	2015	31/12/2015	1,470

Then you have to add this record, which serves for the new contracts:

Index   Series	Base   Year To	Index   Series	Base   Year From	Date	Index   value
FOI	2015	FOI	2015	31/12/2015	1,000

In my system my problem in 2011 was solved in this way:

Index   Series	Base   Year To	Index   Series	Base   Year From	Date	Index   value
08000	1995	08000	2010	31/12/2010	1,373
08000	2010	08000	2010	31/12/2010	1,000

From 01/01/2016, the base year has changed from 2010 to 2015 and this is the actual content of table TIVAJINDXCON:

10000	1995	10000	2010	31/12/2010	1,373
10000	2010	10000	2015	31/12/2010	1,071
