we want to use FMMDAUTO for automatic creation of commitment items.
For these commitment items, the field "superior commitment item" must be maintained.
However, sap documentation says that hierarchies will not be maintained with FMMDAUTO.
Ideally, we want to fully automate the process of creating commitment items and therefore want to prevent users from the necessity to manually assign newly created commitment items to the correct hierarchy node in transaction FMCID.
Is there any other option to do this in a more automated way?
I have also searched for substitutions but found none. Further, mass maintenance of commitment items (Transaction FMSL) does not offer "superior commitment item" as editable field.
