Hi all,
I am on a project on PaPM Cloud project.
I am working with a Model Table for Cost Center master data (Fields: CC ID, CC Desc, Attr1, Attr2) with the following flow:
Model Table --> Query (Editable)
All good to this moment, Now, I want to provide this information to SAC-P Cost Center dimension. But this model table doesn't have a Key Figure and the following message appears when the model is activated "Function does not have any Key Figure, Calculation View creation is skipped". The issue is when I want to read the information from SAC I can't read the information from that query, as the Y table for that query doesn't exist.
I tried a workaround that is to create a second flow from that model with a View and fill with a 1 (Flag field) for each CC and then create the query over the view instead of the model table.
Model Table --> Query (Editable) Not readable from SAC-P
Model Table --> View-> Query (Read) Readable from SAC-P
This works, but my concern is: Is this the correct way to this? Is there a best practice to do this for "master data models"?
Regards.
The solution for this is use only oData services connection.
