Issue with EPM Retrieve function in BPC NW 10

Hi Experts,

We had an issue with EPM Retrieve function last week. Couple of our templates use this function and incorrect values are displayed. Values in database didn't match with the values displayed, When contacted SAP, SAP suggested to implement the following notes - 1714492, 1753959 and 1786054 .

Now, after implementing the notes, actual values are displayed. But one template shows "#RFR" in the cell which has Retrieve function. I did refresh the worksheet/ workbook but of no use. I also tried processing the dimensions and clearing the cache.

Any advise on this.

EPM version - BPC 10 SP 15 patch 2

Thanks for your response Raju.

However,Once I refresh the Time dimension from Web console manually the values are back.

That's is the only dimension we manually maintain.

Is it like, we need to refresh the dimensions via web once in a while?

Any thoughts on this.

Hi,

No need to refresh dimensions if there is no changes in master data.

Can you clear cache using following program :

UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE

Hi,

Place the cursor in one of the retrieve cells and click Refresh-->Refresh Selected Data. Once refresh is done check for log from EPM-->More-->Log.

You may get some clue...
