Hi,
We are currently developing a scorecard on SM 10.1. For one KPI we have a situation like this;
-If the current viewing periodicity is Current Year (Year to Date) then KPI have "0" as actual value.
-For all other periodicities there is actual value seems empty on scorecard.
-Actual value shouldn't show any values. The measures are all empty.
-To avoid this situation I created this KPI from the scratch. Changed all objects from BW query to scorecard(even even tried to create virtual measure when there is no calculation). But when I add the new KPI to the scorecard It was same as the other KPI.
My question is, do you have any explanation to this behavior. If you have, dou you have any solution to this?
A little help would much be appriciated.
Thanks in advance,
Tamer
Tamer,
Thanks for explaining that. Yes that looks like a bug to me!
What Service Pack of 10.1 are you running? If I remember right there was a bug similar to this in one of the earlier Service Pack of 10.1 but it was fixed. We are now on Service Pack 16 and I would recommend upgrading to this Service Pack if you have not already.

Colin

Hi Collin,
Thank you for your reply.
The scenario here is this; the KPI value "should" be empty for the first six months. First value for this KPI was going to be loaded on July. The report view of loaded data is below.
On the SSM database, Actual measure is empty for all months (it is correct).
On the Scorecard;

Tamer,
Now I'm a bit confused! if you are saying that you have no actuals then it will not be possible to create a score as the other part of the calculation is not available and therefore neither will you be able to have a status indicator as this is based on the score.
Is the Target value showing? and if you create a report using that metric can you see those target values?

Hi Collin,
Other than Current Year (Year to Date); all periods aren't showing any value. If you mean is this the same for all months in the year, Yes it is. For all months in 2017 the KPI show "0" for Actual value(Even December).
For the clearence, there are only target values in the cube for 2017. None of the measures connected to this KPI(from BW to SSM scorecard) have no Actual value.
This KPI's measures have been set up as "Avarage".
Thanks for your time,
Tamer

Tamer,
Can you explain a little more please.
Is it the case that the KPI has values for the Actual for each period? Including the latest month?
Have you double-checked that the values have been loaded from BW into the PAS database? Has the consolidation worked correctly so that the lower levels in the Dimension have consolidated up to the top level?
How is the KPI set up (SUM, FIRST, LAST, Average, Exclusive Average)?
