How to upload legacy assets in AUC assets in SAP?

Our business is using SAP for more than 20 years. Some assets were retired and deactivated in FY 2023 (July- Jun). Business want to recapitalize those assets from FY 2024 which is impossible as the assets were already retired and deactivated in FY 2023.

So we suggested the business to upload the assets in AS91 with it's takeover values (APC cost, Accum deprec. cost). In AS91, takeover values, all the fields were disabled and not possible to enter the value. I found that the asset class of those assets were were activated with "Line item Settlement" for the AUC.

Our business settle the AUC assets through PS module. 

Kindly suggest how to upload AUC legacy data in SAP?

Use ABLDT for Fixed Assets and ABLDT_OI for AUC.

Dear Mark, Thanks for your response. ABLDT tcode is used in S4 Hana. But we are using ECC. How to upload there as these assets were already capitalized and depreciation started from FY 2024?

Try ABNAN with tty 158, make sure the deactivation date is blank.
