How to change templates in Manage Journal Entry Templates

Hello

I cannot change the template created by someone else in the "Manage Journal Entry Templates" app. Please tell me how to change it.

Hi Tanabe,

You can modify the template by adding the required technical fields to the SAP given journal entry template. If you are not able to modify the template prepared by other person, you can download the sap given standard template and modify it by adding the relvant fields required by you in the template and use the template to uplaod the journal entries. For example, if you have created a custom field in ACDOCA CDS using custom field and loigic app. Now you want this field in journal entry template, you can add the field technocal name into sap givem standard template. After adding you can give vlaues to this field in template and uplaod the journal entry data.

Would you please share the error message that you are receiving while modifying the Journal Entry template

Hi Venu, Thank you for your reply! The message that appears when editing is as follows "You are not authorized to change template XXXXX_TEST for application Post General Journal Entries. You are not authorized to change template XXXXX_TEST for application Post General Journal Entries."
