Hello, for BPC standard there is an easy way(UJBR) to backup/restore. I know for BPC embedded its not that simple, however is there a how to guide or some easy way to backup?
Thanks
Hi Manish,
BPC Embedded is based on BW-IP with some enhancements from BPC. In contrast to BPC Standard where all planning objects are owned by BPC and not by BW something like UJBR might be useful;but in BPC Embedded the design goal was to do planning in BW not on BW. Almost all objects are BW objects and owned by BW so a kind of 'planning backup and restore' does not make sense. All reasonable DB platforms have a backup/restore why do you see a need to re-implement this for 'planning objects'. Or is this is just a work around for a 'quick and dirty' download/upload to bypass the transport management?
Regards,
Gregor
