I have a question with regarding how to get the value of property.

Could I used [ACCOUNT].CurrentMember.properties("ACCTYPE") = "INC" to replace [ACCOUNT].[ACCTYPE] = "INC" in the script logic?

Hi,

If you look at the EVEXP function, there is a parameter for filter. You can use this parameter for defining your coditions. For example:

[ACCOUNT].CurrentMember.properties("ACCTYPE") = "EXP"

In the above example, put that piece of code in the filter parameter of the EVEXP function. The expansion will be done if the ACCTYPE is EXP.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I tried this on Apshell but does not work.

This is the formula specified in the excel spreadsheet (Apshell - PLANNING):

=EVEXP("planning";"CE0001000";B4:B5;C4:C5;;"evmembers";;;A2)

And the filter specified in cell A2 is:

[ACCOUNT].CurrentMember.properties("ACCTYPE") = "EXP"

Anyone can try and tell me if it works on its environment?

Obviously it works without filters...

Thanks
