I need to change the account type but my account is defined as Primary Costs or Revenue and the system does not let me delete the cost element.
How can I chmage my account ? we do not have production system yet

Hello Imargon, in S/4HC cost elements are nothing but the G/L accounts. The moment you select the account type as 'Primary Costs or Revenue' or 'Secondary Costs', system also forces you to provide cost element category. This way the g/l is also created as cost element. I In order to solve the issue that you are facing, you should mark the existing g/l as 'Not Used’ and create a new g/l copying the existing BS g/l. The existing G/L account is then blocked for posting in the development system and are not transported to the production system. Please note that You cannot delete g/l accounts in the development system.
