Hide connector in Generation step (BRM)

Hello experts,

I need support.

We have the following methodology at GRAC - BRM:

  • 1 - Define Function
  • 2 - Authorizations (in Dev)
  • 3 - Derive
  • 4 - Risk Analysis
  • 5 - Generate (In QA)
  • 6 - Test
  • 7 - Approval
  • 8 - Generation (In PRD)

Is it possible for me to remove the PRD connector in phase 5 of generating in QA?

I would like to keep the DEV(Default) and QA in step 5 and then, only in step 8, make the PRD connector available.

Thank you, Friends

Hi Rubens

Ok, I got your point. Thanks for sharing screenshots.

No, you cannot completely hide the connector at any particular stage in BRM. Though at the time of generation, you can exclude the connector. So I would say you can guide your basis team on this activity to exclude connector manually for which they don't want to perform generation.

Thanks and Regards

Understand,

I really wouldn't want to take that risk leaving it up to Basis to select the correct connector.

I will see the possibility of an improvement.

Grateful, Shivam

Shivam,

Can you support me so I can suggest this enhancement in GRC-BRM?

I need the link where I can fill in the data and send it to SAP.

Thanks, Friend

Hi Rubens

You can put enhancement request through our SAP idea portal. Currently, program is not running. I will update you on your OSS message once program will start and then I will guide you with the next action steps on how to submit the idea.

Thanks and Regards

Shivam
