I am encountering error while installing BPC NW 7.5. Please see the detailed error message below: Thanks..

Hi Cloyd,

Are you installing a new BPC NW system from the scratch. Is this the only error message which you are getting.

Hi Cloyd,

I think there is a problem with your Rundll32 file. Please check the SAP Note below for your issue.

Hi Raghu,

I have performed sap note 1498480 but still having the same problem. I have done this couple of times but no luck.

Hi Cloyd,

Please check whether some of your system files are corrupted or affected. Run system scan and check.

Hi Raghu,

did you mean chkdsk on dos prompt?BTW,I also have sophos antivirus enabled. Is that OK while installing BPC 7.5 NW?

Hi Cloyd,

The message BEX which you are getting is related to Buffer Overflow Exception.

Regarding Antivirus please visit the below SAP Note

Hi Raghu,

It worked now. I performed the sapnote 1498480 and rundll32.exe error resolved it. BPC 7.5NW installed successfully qith no errors. Thanks for your help. KUDOS!
