Error in RE contract

Hello Experts,

We are facing an eror in RE contract profit center determination.

We have reviewed the earlier posts on profit center determination, however for us we are unable to save the contract.

While creating contract:

Contract level no profit center

RU1 : PC1

RU2 : PC 2

Cannot save contract due to error. Error: RETMFI019. Unable to determine exact profit center.

Suggestions please.

Hi Veena,

if the profit center is not entered directly for the contract the system tries to determine it by the assigned objects.

In your example it is impossible for the system to derive the PC automatically.

While creating contract:

Contract level no profit center

RU1 : PC1

RU2 : PC 2

Which PC should be used (PC1 or PC2)? As this cannot be determined automatically you have to enter the profit center manually in the contract posting parameters.
