Thank you Andy.

as per note i am trying add new entry but it not allowing since 91 Key already existed in the table.

i bit not clear on this note... does this note telling us to create new entry. or modify the existing 91 entry.?

you need to modify the existing lines in that table.

Should i required to modify as below for 75 and 95 lines..

Line75     APPL  W  [^!:;| ]+

Line92    MEMB  W  [^#$%'()*+,:;?|"\[\]\/\\]+

but i when i look at the table its already maintained like above... i am bit confusing what is required to modify the table for 75 and 92 entries..

that means its already allowing you to have those chars in your member ID.

I do not recommend you to use /() in member ID's. Issues with script logic!

Hi Vadim,

baic member ID are not followed /,() unauthorized characteristics.  but we have have parenth1 related members also as member id. i am required to put these characteristics for parenth1 related members those are just for nodes.... i will not call them to script logics later.

Parent members are also processed by some script commands:

*XDIM_MEMBERSET SOMEDIM=BAS(MEMBERID)

And if your member ID will contain () you will get error

I simply do not understand why it's so hard to replace ()/ with "_" in conversion?

Can Vadim. i have to create awareness to the users about it. Then it should be fine.
