hi

Can anyone let me know what is this error and how to solve this.

Could not perform Write (Inherited Error)

this got this error after I started DM Package in BPC NW at Load the flat file to the server.

Hi ARK,

Please check the member access profile. Do you have write access to your dimension? For which dimension have you assigned the write dimension? I have a feeling that mostly the write access is not there. Please check and confirm.

Hi,

Login to BPC Admin console. Go to security -> member access profile. Open the one which is created. You will see tabs for different applications. You can refer to that and use the same for your application tab.

Hi Ark,

To check member access profile where access to your dimension has been given,

Go to User(Your user name)>Check which member access profile is assigned then GO to->member Access profile>Modify Member access profile>all the applivcations are listed there.select Your Application>You find dimesnions->Look for Access i.e.Read or Write access.
