Contact person e-mail not updated in ADR6

Hi,

I have a contact person relationship between customer 100 and contact person 200.

When I add a communication email address for BP 200, this is not stored in ADR6 for the contact person.

I've found out that ADR6 table is updated if I change something in the relatioship itself, in the Communication section.

Do you know if I'm doing something wrong or if there is an OSS Note that I can check to fix this wrong behavior?

Don't think this is wrong behavior because our system works the same way with contact persons as the email is maintained in the relationship.

Hello, Please check the tag you have on this question. I see "BP" and wonder if it is "business partner" rather than Business Technology Platform. Perhaps it should be S/4 HANA or another tag? Best Regards, Wallace

Hi SoniaM, has your problem been solved in between? I am curious as we are facing similar issues updating communication data like phone number or email-address in the relationship data. The issues do not occur when we are using standard transaction "BP". The issues occur when we are using any kind API like mass change transaction “XD99” or OData-Service like “API_BUSINESS_PARTNER” (PATCH Entity “A_BPContactToFuncAndDept“) or any application that is using class “CL_MD_BP_MAINTAIN” Method “MAINTAIN”

Hi Becher, no, I'm still facing the issue and I'm not going anywhere... The problem occurs from transaction BP. Do you have any suggestion?
