Is there any standard documentation for how to connect SAP BPC to a non-SAP ERP system? I'm struggling to find any in depth guides, and a client is working on upgrading their non-SAP ERP system, but we want to test the integration with BPC as well.
It depends on version of SAP BW & BPC. Based on my experience, BODS ( BO Data Services) is the best middleware to connection BPC with non-BPC. BODS is a middleware with heterogeneous sources and applications.
When you search for such document, you have to Seach for integration of SAP BW (not BPC) since SAP BW is primary application. BPC is just add-on to SAP BW. Some links for you.
