BPC 10: Need to restart admin in order to start Excel.

Hi,

A weird problem in SAP BPC 10..

When I start the Admin (internet explorer 9) I launch the "EPM office add-in for excel". It starts up excel and works fine. But if I close Excel (all running excels), and then AGAIN try to launch the "EPM office add-in for excel" from the admin module - nothing happens..

I have to shut down the Admin module and restart in order to launch the EPM office add-in for excel again.

Any ideas or anyone with simular problems ?

Hi,

Can you try to open Excel once again, and try to login through the EPM add-in? Does this work?

Hi,

for some reason - probably due to the fact I didn't read the "manual" or the basis setup is incorrect - I do not have my connection available in Excel.

So when using the shortcut "EPM Office ADD-IN excel" from the admin module - I can see my applications, but directly in Excel (log on in the epm/data manager menu) - I only have some custom connections.
