(a)Requesting some insights into usage of authorsation groups in REFX.
I see that we can define them in config, say we define ZRECN for object RE contract.
We assign it to the Auth Group field in contract fast entry screen.
I see that the in PFCG we can assign the same to a role with object F-RE_Brgrp.
I am not clear on what can we limit in BRGRP and how does it relate to the auth group we defined?? Does it limit access to any tabs?? does it limit the user from editing some functions??
(b) I have defined user status from create, A1, A2 ... to A4 approve and activate, i see that in the status definition configuration we have auth key, what role does it play and where do we define it??
Requesting insights from experts

Basically authorization group to control set of objects like buildings, contracts, rental units....
Ex.: person X is responsible for all F&B outlets in all buildings, update authorization group (let us assume F&B_auth) in contracts and assign this authorization group in Auth.Object F_RE_BRGRP nd assign it to role of person X
And authorization key can be used to control authorization for user statuses.
Ex. : in your case the statuses are A1,A2,..A4.
Create authorization keys for AK_A1,AK_A2, AK_A3, AK_A4 and assign these keys to your status profile.
Create role and assign auth.object B_USERSTAT, B_USERST_T and mentioned your authorization keys in these roles.
Like role_A1A2, assign auth.keys AK_A1&AK_A2 then the user will have authorization for only status A1&A2.
