Welcome to our blog series about SAP Subscription Billing’s new features!
This week we’re happy to share several features that were recently released: a new UI design for charge details in bills, a new setting for custom references, forecast usage data in the app, further Horizon themes, and last but not least, event objects that are no longer beta. Let’s have a look together in detail:
New Design for Detailed Charge Information in Bills
In the
Manage Billing Data app, information about charge or credits in a bill is now structured in a more streamlined way. A compact list of charges or credits gives you a clearer overview:

And you can then navigate to further details for each charge or credit:

Value Help for Custom References
You can now choose the predefined custom reference IDs from the value help when you maintain the customer reference for an object, such as a subscription or a product. This option improves data quality.
You define the possible values for the custom reference in the
Manage Business Configuration app under
Custom References.
