You are not allowed to execute closing entries in period 005 / 2016

Dear Gurus,

   When I tried to close the material ledger in our test system for this period, the system does not allow me to execute it.

    Could you tell me why ?

Hi,

The period-end closing in Material Ledger can only be done for the previous period. Thus, you need to close the April period before you can do the period-end closing in txn CKMLCP.

    We activate the material ledger in May, so this is the first month for closing material ledger.

    But today is in the middle of May, can I do the closing? Or Could you telll me how to do the closing.

Hi, post an error number.

there is an oss note, which describes how you can do it (as far as I remember you need to maintain parameter in su01 for that)
