Write Down Value Depreciation

Hi Friends,

I am new to SAP Business One. One of my client want to calculate depreciation based on WDV (Write Down Value) Method. There is no such kind of calculation method in SAP Business One 9 Fixed Asset. Please suggest me which calculation method I have to follow.

Could you update whether you managed WDV depreciation calculations or not? If Yes, How? & If not, what work around did you preferred??

This sounds the same as diminishing value (DV) method.

Do some testing to see if it gets the results you require

? It is the same as the method you were asking about?

The option to choose when setting up your depreciation types is Declining Balance

Perhaps this is just a terminology issue, I haven't heard of write down value method, could you explain the required calculation?
