Hi All,

Can you please throw some light on why IT0003-Payroll Status is not Audit logged as standard, if we configure IT0003 for audit log, does impact on the paroll other than producing audit log RPUAUD00?.

Thanks

Changes to IT0003 are often not logged into the Audit Log since it changes almost every time a user creates/modifies/deletes an Infotype that is important for Time Evaluation or Payroll Calculation.  The argument I have heard most it that it would end up taking too much space, but perhaps you could select to track specific field changes, such as the "Lock/Unlock" employee box.

Thank you Scott and All

it is just to confirm, are there any tables for configuration point of view other than what you have mentioned above T585ABC , whatsoever it may be the data quantity - millions - like above discussions by our forum members , we need to be able get the output through RPUAUDU00/S_AHR_61016380.

Configuring in tables V_T585A, V_T585B & V_T585C should be all you need in order to start logging IT0003 through program RPUAUD00.  If the quantity of data is a concern, try your best to restrict by particular field in table V_T585B.

it 0003 Is the payroll status infotype. everytime someone changes any Master Data, anytime payroll runs or Time evaluation runs, anything happens, IT 0003 isd updated, do you really want to fill your audit log tables with millions of entries on IT 0003 changes? Is it really required? Even if you log, what information will you get from it? Will you be able to identify who has changed the IT for what purposes?

IT 0003 is not included in the audit log as standard for good reasons.

Now take one step backwards and look at the underlying problem if any? What problem do you have and why do you think logging IT 0003 will help solve that problem?

If you want IT0003 to be logged, check configuration in the following tables: V_T585A, V_T585B & V_T585C.  Having logging turned on should not have any adverse affects on Payroll.

Hi Siva,

Pl do not post incorrect/irrelevant information. Divnnr knows about infotype logging & wanted clarification on why 0003 isn't logged.
