When Fixed Asset Partial Transfer, error show in SAP ByDesign

When Fixed Asset Partial Transfer (FA.No. 1 to New FA.No 2), "Partial transfer not possible; partner individual material 100006854 is obsolete" error show. Why this happen and how to fix issue?

Hello Myat,

This error generally occurs if you have already posted a complete transfer instead of the partial transfer with 100% amount.

You might have tried posting a Partial Transfer of Individual Material with Previous Year values with 100% of the remaining amount on the individual material. Such a posting would set the assignment Status of the Individual Material to Fixed Asset to 'Retired' and change to Obsolete.

You can use other IMAT for the fixed asset and try to post partial transfer.
