What triggers the delivery status VBUK-GBSTK to 'B'?

Hi.

I encounter an issue with regard to the delivery 'Overall status' (VBUK-GBSTK) upon delivery creation. In my understanding, upon delivery creation, GBSTK status should be initially at 'A' but when I create my deliveries, upon saving, my document GBSTK status becomes 'B'. Whereas for my other deliveries their statuses remains at 'A'.

Is there a control or configuration somewhere, that controls the status change upon delivery creation?

Appreciate the expertise and support for my issue from the community.

Hi,

VBUK-GBSTK status comes to B whenever we do partial delivery.

Ex: Actual delivery quantity: 50, if you do partial 30 then only the status comes to B.

Please check a cycle once.

Hi ,

For the delivery document, the "Overall status"  are influnenced as below.

If the delivery is created, but no picking and PGI, then the status will be "A"

If the Picking & PGI is done, but billing not created, then the status will be "B"

If billing is created , then the status will be "C".

Thank you for your response! I discovered something new from my recent tests. Upon saving my order, there is a credit checking involved upon saving. When I checked VBUK-GBSTK for the sales order document, the value is 'B'. When I created my delivery document, after saving, without performing picking, delivery status VBUK-GBSTK, is also at 'B'.

Is this a normal behavior when the order undergoes credit checking? When I perform tests for orders without credit checking, status is at 'A'.
