Dear Friends,
Request to clarify following doubts.
1) Is SPC aplicable only for fixed lots? If so why SAP has put this limitation? Becasue most of the sampling procedures are not fixed. Is there a way around to use SPC for all sampling procedures.
2) What is the suitable SPC criteria & control chart type for the following characteristics in standard?
a) upper limit, lower limit, sampling procedure, single result, required characteristic, fixed scope,
sampling procedure
Sampling type = using sampling scheme with AQL
Valuation mode = variable inspection S method (two limits)
b) > lower limit, sampling procedure, single result, required characteristic, fixed scope,
sampling procedure
Sampling type = using sampling scheme with AQL
Valuation mode = variable inspection S method (one limits)
b) qualitative characteristic, sampling procedure, summurised recording, required characteristic, fixed scope,
sampling procedure
Sampling type = percetange sample
Valuation mode = attributive inspection nonconfirming units
Regards
You must choose fixed sample to use control chart in SAP standard.
