What is the OData API timeout on S/4Hana Clould

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the OData API timeout is on S/4Hana cloud and if the value can be changed.

Hello Jon,

The X-CSRF-Token validity is set to 30 minutes ( 1800 seconds ) for a Cloud S4HC system

This settting / paramater isnt changeable .

System timeout depends on the Identity Provider that you are using. If you are using the SAP Cloud Identity Authentication Service (IAS), the timeout is set there. When the IdP session expires, the application session also expires.

To check and configure the IdP session timeout:

Logon to the Administration console of IAS with Admin privileges and navigate to Applications & Resources > Tenant Settings > Session Time-out to configure the timeout period between 5 min to 12 hours. Set the timeout to the preferred period and save the change.
