I am working in CPI- DS team. I used to hear a lot when i do connections that the connecting system are SAP ECC.
I'm aware of SAP BW system where the company stores the past transactions. Likewise could anyone tell what data we'll have in SAP ECC and is that same as SAP ERP?
Request clarification before answering.

Hi ,
R/3 -> ERP -> ECC
SAP R/3 is the former name of the main enterprise resource planning software produced by SAP AG. It
was renamed SAP ERP. It was later renamed Enterprise Central Component or ECC.
ECC Enterprise Central Component.
ERP Stands for Enterprise Resource planning.
Thanks
