Hi,

Kindly clarify what is different betw VBSEGS and BSEG tables.

Some parked documents are seen in both the tables but some of them are not seen in VBSEG.

The main table for parked documents item details is BSEG then why is VBSEG required ?

thanks

B

Hi,

Parked documents are stored in VBKPF and VBSEG* tables; VBSEGS is a particular case of parked documents on G/L accounts. A parked document will be stored in VBKPF and BKPF (with special status). It will be stored in one or numerous VBSEG* tables. It will come to BSEG after the posting and consequently deleted from VBKPF and VBSEG*.

Hi Eli,

Thanks very much for the information.

For the posted BSEG document, how can we find it was in which of the VBSEG* tables ?

Is there any table we can use for parked document such that we are sure there will be always an entry there ?

My requirement is I need line items details of parked document and VBSEGS table is being used currently but it doesnt work in some cases.

thank you

Hi,

VBSEGS is relevant for items on G/L accounts. If you have an item on a vendor, it will be in VBSEGK; on customer - VBSEGD, etc. It will dissappear from these tables after posting.

If the document is appearing in VBSEG* tables then it'll not appear in BSEG table and vice versa.

VBSEGS-Parked GL items

VBSEGD-Parked Customer items

VBSEGK-Parked vendor items.
