What is the Applied date in the applied transaction window.

Hi All.

I have a question regarding internal reconcilations and the applied date on the applied transations window.

When doing an internal reconciliation..the users chooses a prior date.

a message then pops up saying:

The exchange rate tax will be posted with the current system date.

If the user then clicks okay and goes back to view the applied transactions.

The applied date is todays date.

Is this normal system behaviour? what does it bring up the initial message..when doing the reconciliation?

thank you all

Hi Jerusha,

This is by system design. Because the transactions are involving FC, only current rate will be applied.

Thanks,

Gordon

As an admin I can reconcile the BP in FC as 31.10.24 but not as other user. Any idea which authorisation is the one relevant for this? Thanks
