What is one-time customer?

Dear All,

I am an ABAP guy and require some functional knowledge about one-time customer. Can you please tell me what is meant by one-time customer? Will the customer be used for only one purpose - only for asset selling for eg.?

For all customers or vendors with whom you rarely do business, create a special customer and a special vendor master record. These master records contain receivables and payables for one-time customers/vendors (one-time accounts). In contrast to other master records, a one-time account master record does not contain any information about a specific customer/vendor since this account is used for more than one customer/vendor. Therefore, the customer/vendor-specific fields should be hidden. We enter the customer/vendor specific data for one-time customer/vendors in the document during posting directly.

One time customer is the one with whom the organization will have rare transactions. So the data for this customer does not need to be stored in database as a master record. But on a transaction level it has to be feeded while posting.

In this way the classfication as a one time helps in reducing the size of ever increasing database.

Hi

'One time customer' is the one with whom the business does not deal on a regular basis (may be once in a while). For this, we create the master record wherein customer specific details are not saved as we will not be dealing with these one time customers again. There is a check box, wherein we need to check in to indicate that we need to make the customer as a one time customer.

one time cust.is an account which is entirely separate ACCOUNT GROUP.in OBD2.at the time of acc.group creation we select one time cust.check box.it is used for scrap sales other than inventory sales.in this customer co.code data is not updated like reconcilation account, sort key and payment terms.in this custmer at the time of posting u can enter general data and bank details.

Hi,

One customers are those whom we supply only once or rare.We create a special customer master record, the master record for "one-time accounts".We do not store customer specific data in one time account, since this account is used for more than one customer.The customer-specific entries such as address and bank details are entered when the document for the transaction is entered into the system.A separate account group is created for one time customers in which we check the box one time account( tcode OBD2)
