hi this is Deva,

i want to know what is capital goods and under what materil type it will come?

Dear Devendran,

<b>Capital Goods</b> used in the production of other goods such as industrial buildings, machinery, equipment, as well as highways, office buildings, and government installations.

Non-consumable goods (NCGs) include capital goods such as vehicles and aircraft

The capital goods (assets) will be created as asset class in FI using asset master. In PO you have to select Account assignment category A and the G/L Account assigned to asset class will be taken into consideration for the postings.

I hope the Material type for capital goods:

<b>Operating supplies (HIBE)</b>

Operating supplies are procured externally and required for the manufacture of other products. A material master record of this material type can contain purchasing data, but not sales data.
