Hello,
The requirement is not to release level 1 WBS until it has been budgeted. How this can be achieved?
Regards,
Hi,
You can try using User status to restrict the release till budgeting is done.

Hi,
You can restrict the authorization for a particular user status by assigning that user status to a specific authorization code. Basically, it amounts to restricting authorization for the particular user status to certain users.

Hi,
I implemented the same requirement:
Create a user status that is set automatically at creation of the WBS.
Add the next control steps for the newly created user status:
- The user status must prevent the business transaction for releasing the WBS.
- The user status must be reset automatically when the WBS is budgetted (system status BUDG at WBS).
Now the WBS element can only be released if a budget is maintained for the WBS.

Hello,
I have created the user status which prevents the release of WBS if it is not budgeted and is set automatically after budget has been entered.
However, it is possible to set the user status manually even without budgeting. Any ideas on how to prevent the user status from being changed manually if WBS is not budgeted?
Thanks & Regards
Dear Seth
Create a new user status profile with the user statuses which control the release of the WBS if it is not Budgeted.
