Please, check the suggestions on the following note:

305541 - VL31N: load selection variant automatically

On the selection screen of Transaction VL31N, it is possible to define own selection variants. If you select a selection variant, the latter is automatically loaded when calling up Transaction VL31N again.

Edit the selection for Transaction VL31N.

Carry out the steps as described below:

1. Execute Transaction 'SQ02'.

2. In the menu, choose function 'Environment -> Query areas' menu and branch to the global area (cross-client).

3. Select functional area (info set) '/SAPQUERY/MEVL31' (MEQUERY to VL31) in the list displayed .

4. Choose function 'Change'.

5. In the display of the functional area (info sets), position the cursor on the EKPO (file) branch within the branch of the logical database MEPOLDB.

6. In the menu, choose function 'Goto -> Code -> END-OF-SELECTION -> Before list output' and confirm a dialog box with Enter which is possibly generated.

7. Correct the code according to the changesfor the functional area (info set) described in the 'Corrections' section.

8. Save your changes before you exit the editor.

9. Generate the functional area. Confirm possible information.

10. Select the functional area/InfoSet '/SAPQUERY/MEVL31' (MEQUERY for VL31) in the list of the functional areas/InfoSet (Transaction SQ02).

11. In the menu, choose function 'Goto -> Query directory'.

12. On the selection screen for the parameter, enter functional area '/SAPQUERY/MEVL31' and choose function 'Execute' (F8).

13. Select all entries in the list and choose function 'Edit--> Generate program'.

I believe this may help you!

Regards !
