Visual Studio for SAPB1 - Where to Obtain the correct version?

Hi All,

Just a short question if anyone can help - I have SAPB1 Studio installed, I am on 9.3 PL05.

I have visual studio 2010 and am getting template errors. Looking online I need to update to Visual Studio 2015.

My question is do I need a special version of visual studio? Or just the version from the Microsoft Website?

HI, but where is the actual software to download? The MS website only seems to have the following, but not the version for SAP b1?

Microsoft website will not specifically mention the version for SAP Business One. What is needed to have:

• The supported version of Microsoft Visual Studio which is listed in SAP Note 2108204.
• SAP Business One Studio.

For an example: I normally use SAP Business One Studio along with Visual Studio Professional 2015 for SAP Business One Version 10.0.

So, if you will be using Visual Studio 2017 or Visual Studio 2019 that will not be supported in case of SAP Business One Studio. However, SAP Business One Version 10.0 is supported with Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 development for SDK.

If you will be using any express edition of Visual Studio, that will not be supported in case of SAP Business One Studio.

Refer to SAP Note 2108204 for Microsoft Visual Studio Support for SAP Business One Studio.

Kindly note that Express Editions for Microsoft Visual Studio are not supported.
